What our clients said:

Jodie P.: “It was a really great holiday. Everyone we met was very friendly, every pub, cafe and restaurant we went to had great food and atmosphere. Each village was picturesque. The walks themselves had amazing views, weren't too strenuous, and were a good length for a day's walk. Excellent to not have to carry luggage from one place to another as well. I will 100% book one with you again in the future.”

Crisse H.: “Just wanted to thank all of you for a wonderful walking tour of the Cotswolds! Everything was top notch - the accommodations, the breakfasts, the luggage transfers, and the trail guides. What a lovely way to spend time in the Cotswolds. Thank you.”

What our clients said:

Ian W.: “We had the most enjoyable time on our walk, it was truly one of the best holidays my wife and I have had in years. The scenery, the history and the people we met on our travels were all wonderful.”

Donna D.: “I can honestly say that it was the best vacation of my life! We loved every minute of it and with your planning it went without a hitch! We did manage to get turned around twice during the walk, which we put down to our own error by misreading the map instructions, but were easily able to get back on track. All of the accommodations provided friendly owners, great breakfasts and locations.”

What our clients said:

Anne L.: “The 6-day guided walking tour was a most enjoyable experience. There were six of us in our group including my two adult children. Our guide Robert was most knowledgeable, interacted easily, was humorous, organized and a pleasure to listen to. The walks and destinations were all well chosen, and I particularly liked the little extra details such as including observation of a stone wall in construction, a brief visit to a silversmith doing all handwork, visits to weavers and to mills, and the addition of a few excellent of local guides. We had excellent lunches every day - one most memorable was a buffet table set up just for us under trees outside a beautiful historic house. As fine a job as the operators did, nothing surpasses the beauty of the Cotswolds -- the rolling green land, the stone fences and houses, the long history, and amazing gardens. And I don't want to leave out the delicious scones and clotted cream!”

What our clients said:

Gabriel L.: “My father and I had an absolutely stellar experience with Cotswold Walks! The communication was terrific throughout our booking process, and logistically, our experience getting from inn to inn and finding our luggage and rooms waiting for us was flawless. The maps and route notes were crystal clear and we didn't get lost once during our three days of walking. The routes chosen for us were delightful, jaw-droppingly picturesque, and had the perfect amount of adventure. We are already looking forward to booking with Cotswold Walks again in the near future and bringing more of the family with us! Thank you Cotswold Walks!”

Rosemarie S.: “The hiking was wonderful. The views were worthy of a National Geo photo shoot. The guide provided lots of local historical context and was good company. An important part of these outings is a pub stop for socializing with locals. Our version of this were two lunches, at a tea shop and the Castle Combe hotel. Guide owns the company with his wife. she unexpectedly joined for day two and was good company. It was perfect sunny cool weather for day one and light rain on day two. The sound of the rain added a wonderful atmosphere as we walked through the woods. I thank you for suggesting this adventure. I will be reflecting on it for some time, especially the hike.”
