Day 1: Arrive The Lamb Inn, Burford
Explore this historic wool town with its fine Elizabethan architecture and speciality shops. The first Cotswold town to receive a charter to hold a market in 1087 it still retains its magical air and interest.
Day 2: Transfer to Bourton-on-the-Water and walk back to Burford - 13 miles/21 km
Transfer to Bourton-on-the-Water or closer and walk back to Burford through the charming villages of Wyck Rissington and Little Barrington with lunch available on route.
Day 3: Circular walk to - 5 miles/8 km
Take a stroll along the river Windrush and through Widford and Fulbrook to return to Burford where you could enjoy a relaxing lunch before departing. You can also make a detour to Swinbrook and learn about the Mitford sisters. 2018 sees the return of the on form sculpture show between the 10 June and the 8th July at Asthall Manor the former home of the Mitford family.
